3D Scanning

SMALL OBJECTS

package description

3D scanning of small objects refers to the process of recreating a digital replica of a physical object with a scanner that uses structured light to capture the shape and size of objects.

This process can be used to recreate exact physical models or to obtain information such as exact dimensions, shape, and texture of the object.

The resulting 3D models can be used for various purposes, such as 3D printing, precise dimension checking, etc.

We're using a 3D scanning equipment that produces a point density on the scanned object's surface of 0.1mm and a accuracy of measured points of +/-0.2mm.

THE BEST QUALITY-PRICE RATIO

We divide each project into 4 distinct stages to always deliver on time.

Documentation

In this stage the project is studied in detail to establish the optimal methods of measurement and processing for the best quality-price product.

3d scanning

We use the fastest and most accurate equipments and measurement methods to minimize the time allocated to field measurements in such a way that the clients' activity is not interrupted or very little disturbed.

MEASUREMENTs PROCESSING

We process the measurements with specialized software using verification and control methods to always deliver a quality product.

DELIVERABLES

Whether it is point clouds, 2D plans or 3D models, we pay great attention to the products delivered, so that they rise to the highest quality standards.

3D MODEL

As a result of the 3D scanning process of small objects, a 3D model can be exported in the following formats:

  • *.stl
  • *.ply
  • *.obj
These formats are compatible with most design, modeling, and 3D printing software.

2D PLANS

Through the vectorization process of the 3D model resulting from scanning the small object, sections can be produced and exported in the following formats:

  • *.dwg
  • *.dxf
These formats are compatible with most CAD software.
